Backyard Cinema's 'The Winter Night Garden'
Here at the Christmas Edit we are big on 'magical'. We don't list all of the events that are happening in and around London just the ones that we think are that little bit extra special as that's what we all want around Christmas time, right?
Well the people at the Backyard Cinema are back for the festive season with their magical event 'The Winter Night Garden'. Known for their immersive, theatrical events, detailed productions and festival atmosphere; Backyard Cinema have built a beautiful, indoor enchanted forest, where they will be screening a wonderfully festive array of Christmas classics, including Home Alone, Elf, Love Actually and It's a Wonderful Life (plus many more).
To access the cinema, customers must venture through a magical wardrobe (everyone dreamed of this after reading The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe when they were little, didn't they?) found in the depths of the brand new Italian market; Mercato Metropolitano (SE1) and continue down a secret tunnel of trees, into the enchanted woodland.
Once through the enchanted woodland customers will be able to snuggle up under a blanket with a warm glass of mulled wine and a mince pie, and settle in for a truly magical Christmas movie treat. This really is pop up cinema at it's best.
