Festive Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
We're so lucky to have so many stunning London parks. With a toddler I spend hours in the park we do everything from feeding the squirrels and watching the deer to jumping in puddles and playing in the play park. But there is one thing I've always dreamt of doing, which I've only seen in New York and that is having a horse drawn carriage ride around the park at Christmas. Well, it seems that my little Christmas dream is now going to come true as that is exactly what the amazing people at Operation Centaur are doing this Christmas in Richmond Park.
From the 16th - 18th of December 2016 Operation Centaur are bringing you a six person Park Brake drawn by their majestic Shire Horses, allowing you to experience Richmond Park like never before.
It's a 90 minute experience that starts with festive refreshments. You will then take your place in the carriage under warm blankets, embarking on a 60 minute ride through the park in all of its stark winter beauty.
The rides run on Friday the 16th, Saturday 17th and Sunday the 18th of December 2016.
There are two rides per day at 12pm and 1pm
Tickets are £125 (this is for two people)
Guests must be aged 8+
The carriage holds 6 people, you can book out a whole carriage for £375
Head to www.supporttheroyalparks.org for more info and to book your tickets.
